Software Downloads and Upgrades

 

The most recent version of the CTI Pulsar Plus call recording software is version 2.0.48. Customers with older versions of the Pulsar are welcome to use this download as a free upgrade, as well as those customers needing to replace their software.

 

To upgrade or replace your software, please complete the steps below to ensure smooth installation:

 

1 - Shut down your old software.

 

2 - Uninstall your old software by either going to your start menu, programs, pulsar plus and selecting "Uninstall" or via your Add/Remove Programs on your control panel. (This will not delete the recordings but they will not display on the playback list on the new software.)

 

3 - Download the new software here.

 

4 - Run setup.exe (that you just downloaded) and follow the installation guide. It will then ask you to restart your computer.

 

5 - If you selected the Pulsar Plus software to start when Windows starts it will be minimised to your system tray (where the clock is) when your computer has restarted. You must double click the blue telephone icon to access the software.

 

Please remember that the new software minimises to your system tray instead of the task bar but it will still record all conversations if left on Automatic Record mode.  If you attempt to start the software when it is already running in the background, the software will be unable to find the comm port as it will already be in use.

 

The drivers below are for the most recent USB to serial adaptor. If you have an older version, please refer to your software disc or use the Internet to automatically search for drivers.
